Action 1 & 2: The Gateway (1 of 2 years)
The gateway to this new world has been found but it
appears that it is guarded by a very powerful guardian
that seems to have effectively guarded the gate. The
Archmage feels that it would be best to look into this
guardian. A search into the what this guardian is and
how to get past it will be looked into. They are to
look for any information about what the creature is
with out directly confronting the creature.
Information is also to be gathered about these various
groups that have attempted to enter to see what groups
have tried and gather as much information about has
and has not been tried.

Action 3: The Vraa'al (1 of 2 year)
With the Vraa'al attempted assaisination of the
Burcancy family and Burcancy requst for aid. Mir is
going to look into the situation. The Archmage has
places Niotrosa in charge of a research into the
Vraa'al. They are to look into all of the recorded
Knoweldge about the Vraa'al. This includes the
original deal with the Vraa'al and also the
ethnogrophies writen about them and other records on
the Vraa'al. At this point all the research is only
taking place with in the Mirish records, archives,
library and other vaults. They are looking for
information that will help them with again dealing
with the Vraa'al.

Interpretation: It seems everyone guards their secrets
concerning the gateway very, very closely. The year is spent
tracking down a three different false leads.

Interpretation: The Mir archives turn out very little useful in
this situation. The original deal itself especially offers
little direct help in a situation like this. On a more positive side,
the archives turn up several detailed documents of the origins
and society of the Vraa'al. While somewhat old (even the
newest is several centuries old), the Vraa'al society
is unlikely to change.

Description: Converts join the order, increasing population by 10%. (? growth
remaining?)
Description: The High Priest Hugo Crespi dies on his way to attend the Grand
Conclave. With the shoo-in candidate for church leadership dead, politics at
the Grand Conclave turns serious.
Description: The Grand Conclave is very will attended. In addition to 20
priests, representatives of the 5 remaining priests, and their assistants,
most Rohain (45) and the majority of Espiri (15) also attend. Quaestae also
show up in large numbers. While some funds are available to support the
travelers, the church in Cormenaera is severely strained. (Cormenaera city
proper, however, scarcely notices the influx of ~200.)

summon a Servant of Feroze from the dreaming to offer advice.

Description:
Pursuant to the agreement reached last year, the Cedonians send out a
caravan from Gomel to Saltrim. The caravan consists of critical parts for
the construction of siege weapons to be mounted on the city walls of
Saltrim, and trained Cedonian military engineers to supervise the
construction of such weapons. The caravan is also accompanied by a very
large military escort, a force consisting of 500 Selarian cavalry, a mix of
horse archers and lancers. The commander of the military escort is ordered
to ensure the arrival of the caravan at Saltrim at any cost; the Cedonians
will not tolerate another embarrassment at the hands of the Merchant's Guild
in Pran.

bandits; given the geography, the caravan will be vulnerable to interception
by Pran for only a short time.

Description:
With Villard, the former king of Burcancy now serving as Prince of Vizinia,
the Cedonians start making preparations for integrating Vizinia into the
United Provinces. Important members of the local Vizinian nobility,
scholarly, and merchant classes are to be selected to serve as interim
members of the Regency Council. Villard, like the Duke of Caladyn, is an ex
officio member of the Council. The new Vizinian Councilors will not be
voting members until 1450, when the next election will take place. At that
time, Vizinian nobles will take their places in the Council's Circle of
Nobles, and the Vizinian people will elect their members of the Commoner's
Circle.

Despite being tired of the wars of the last decades, the steady income

Results: The caravan is attacked en route, but the large escort
drives the attackers off after taking some casualities and losing
some of the cargo. The caravan arrives to Saltrim and received
initially with open hands. However, some soldiers in the escort
feel much too free with the reception; they rape some local women,
and a riot ensues. The cedonians are forced to leave the town
immediately.
