• Society concept:

A group of cities that thrived on trade a while ago...but were basically dying....their culture was very stagnant. Then, along about 8 generations ago, the Mountain Lords stream down out of the mountains and take over the cities, causing a bit of a cultural revolution and expanding the empire. It took a while for things to settle down, and for ethnic interproblems to fall down, but eventually the two cultures merged and became a very dynamic culture.
